Self

My-self and your-self. If the self belongs to me, who does it belong to?

Memories

It’s so fucking bizarre, having all of these memories. I really don’t know what to make of them, even those from a month ago feel as though they were from an entirely different person. In fact, they are, as the mind and body are constantly changing. It’s just weird, having a young body and going through these things. I can barely grasp 17 years of experience, what will another 70 entail? It feels as though in my first 17 years I was constantly swept along, not giving much thought to past or future events, will this stay this way?

Question:

Ask yourself, who is it that you are asking and who is asking?

Thoughts, Thinking & the Thinker

You are the observer beyond thought, not the thinker. All thought arises from tension, emotional states are merely different frequencies of thought and the ego, disguised as the thinker, is interpreting these forms of thought.

Happiness is our default state and negativity, like pain in regards to physical problems, is merely a signal to raise awareness towards a mental problem. However, we tend to identify with this pain or suppress it through distraction and denial, which can cause even more problems.

"Belief is the death of intelligence. As soon as one believes a doctrine of any sort, or assumes certitude, one stops thinking about that aspect of existence."

Robert Anton Wilson

OBEY

Anonymous asked: well well well, seems you haven't deleted all your accounts... after reading your blog, this confirms to me you are just playing games... Your a sick man~

I do play games, some are convenient, but for the wrong reasons. I admit to being sick, but I am getting better.

Playing Games

We’re all playing games, day-in and day-out. We’re born, live on this planet and for the time being we play games to entertain ourselves. If you chose not to participate in a few [basic or unnecessary] games, it doesn’t mean that you’re weak. However, don’t forget that while there are some games that might cost you your life, there are plenty of others that are fun to play, exciting and challenging. But, try not to play too many games at once, get good at a few or exceptional in one and play it safe when others are making up the rules.

Paths

Don’t take the path less take, make your own path instead and if you ever come across footprints, stop immediately. Because, no matter how safe or pleasant it may seem, it is never wise to follow a path that has been predetermined by others. However, let your path intersect with those of others, so that you can learn from what they’ve discovered while on their own path. Also, strengthen yourself in as many skills as possible, for you may never know what hardships may await you on the path that is your own.

Where are you?

Look up, down, left and right. Where are you? Are you sure? Please, check again and consider looking beyond the observable. Yes, perhaps now you’ve realized where you are. In infinite space, on a planet humans call Earth. It’s just one planet among billions of others, but because it’s right in front of you it’s easy to forget where you are.

Finding Truth

It’s just silly to assume that in order to find “truth” or to become enlightened, one needs to work through a system or model [for several years]. You don’t, we’ve invented them. It’s all made-up, every [religious] system and [spiritual/philosophical] model. In one way, they’re all equally false [or true], but they do vary in practicality.

So, forget about joining an occult order, religion or subscribing to any model. It’s not going to reveal any truth to you and you’re likely not going to get any wisdom out of it. Is it that hard to believe? How come we believe that truth has to do with dressing up a certain way, eating specific things, giving hand gestures, attending ceremonies, doing rituals, paying fees, making sacrifices or anything else?

I hope you know better than that. It’s all just a game, like politics and we’ve invented it. I’m not saying it can’t be a fun time, it could be a blast, but instead of seeing life as is, you’re looking at it through the safety of a model. So, if you actually want to grow without [much] constraint, adopt a [dynamic] model (notice, everything’s a model) of science, reason, logic, skepticism and awareness to make sense of your experiences/findings.

However, as a word of warning, don’t get trapped in them. The menu’s not the meal and what you own ends up owning you.

Infinity, trololololol.

So, any piece that you take out of infinity is still infinite. Ergo, we’re all infinite? I don’t know if that’s true, it would be awesome. However, one thing that’s [maybe] true is that we’re all part/embedded into an enormous universe.

What’s the point of being a sucker?

As Timothy Leary said, this is your own [psychedelic] trip. It lasts nearly 80 years and it can be any kind of trip you want it to be, so make it a good one.

Why not make it a good one? Is it really that frightening? Yes, but it will always stay that way if you do not [constantly] break out of it. It does suck, just like getting under a cold shower does or waking up very early, but through time this too will diminish.

So, are you making it a good one? If not, rejoice, because this is and will always be your [last] chance to change that. Also, consider yourself lucky, because you have access to the most sophisticated data network in our solar system. Unlike with T.V. or nothing at all, you posses the ability to choose and download the information you want.

Meaning, you can download information onto your computer and then into your brain. Plus, you can install programs that allow you to scan the validity of the information, process and integrate it efficiently. So, why not start there? Acquire and utilize information to “hack” your way into the reality you desire.

"So, when I come to someone’s home — I don’t open the door and take a shit on the floor. I ask him where his bathroom is. So, these are conveniences."

Dr. Christopher Hyatt
